Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 | Colt OS 5.6 | Android 10 | Installation | Instructions

Pre-requisites:
 
01. Backup your data. 
 
02. Charge your phone battery atleast 50% and more but I will recommend to have atleast 80% or more. 
 
03. Firmware Version needed: 060 (Android Pie Based) or 407 (Android 10 Based).
  • I would prefer using version 060 (Android Pie Based).

 05. Bootloader should be unlocked (Referenced Video mentioned below):

 06. TWRP Custom Recovery should be installed (Referenced Video mentioned below):

Skip the Installation part related to Pixel Experience Custom ROM (as we will install Colt OS 5.6 ROM in the proceeding steps). 

 07. Finally the installation of Colt OS 5.6 ROM using TWRP Recovery:
a. Format Data.
b. Wipe Cache, Dalvik, Data and System. (Vendor partition is optional).
c. Install/Flash the Colt OS 5.6 ROM.
d. Install/Flash the GApps.

08. Reboot the phone and complete the phone setup process. (Wait for 10-15 mins but if it is taking more than 15 mins and still there is no progress with the Phone Setup process then restart the device as it will fasten the process afterwards).

 09. Last but not the least finally enjoy Colt OS 5.6 ROM on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.
