In this video we will discuss: Security, Minor Customization, Battery Metrics, Bluetooth & Screen Casting, Network & Internet, Advanced Customization using Superior Goodies, Default Apps shipped with the ROM, Quick Settings, Camera 2 API, Widevine Certification, Benchmark Scores, RAM/Memory Management and last but not least Installation and many more.
1. Android Version: Android 10 based Custom ROM.
2. Build Type: Official.
3. Build Date: April 08th, 2020.
4. Security Patch: April 05th, 2020.
5. Kernel Version: 4.4.2.15-Direwolf-2.0.
6. Default Launcher: Lawnchair Launcher.
7. Provision for OTA Update: Yes, it is available but not sure whether it is working or not?
8. Device Certification (Play Protect Certification): No, it is not certified by default and even tried numerous times and was unable to do it. You can try the same at your end and provide your feedback for the same in the comment section below.
9. Security:
a. Pin/Pattern/Password/Swipe: All are working.
b. Fingerprint Scanner: Working.
c. Face Unlock Option: Not Available yet. Hoping to see in the future builds or updates.
10. Display (Theming):
a. Theme Room: You can choose and apply the Themes available in this section which will be applied system wide, along with this there is an option for choosing and applying the Custom Accent Color too.
b. Headline/Body Font: You can choose and apply the Headline/Body Font available in this section which will be applied system wide.
c. Icon Shape: You can choose and apply the Icon Shape available in this section which will be applied to Quick Settings only.
11. Battery:
a. Battery Consumption:
# While Normal/Light
Usage: Like: Web Browsing, Social
Networking, Video and Audio Playbacks etc. the battery consumption is satisfactory.
# While Playing Games:
- PUBG Mobile: 13-15% battery was consumed during the 1 Hour of Game Play.
Game Settings: Graphics: HD and Frame Rate: High.
- Call of Duty Mobile: 17-19% battery was consumed during the 1 Hour of Game Play.
Game Settings: Graphics: Medium and Frame Rate: High.
b. Idle Battery Drainage: 5-6% battery was drained in a span of 7-8 Hours. Even Digital Wellbeing was also turned on.
c. Charging Time: It took nearly about 3:30 Hours to fully charge the battery from 0 to 100%.
12. Connected Devices:
a. Bluetooth: It is Working fine for both the File Transfer and Bluetooth Audio as well.
b. Screen Casting: It is able to connect successfully but afterwards it is just showing the Blank Screen. Even tried this numerous time on 2-3 Laptops as well but still the result was same.
13. Network & Internet:
a. WiFi Calling: It is available and working fine for both the Airtel and Jio Sim.
b. Native Video Call: Not Available yet. Hoping to see in the future builds or updates.
c. Call Recording: Not Available yet. Hoping to see in the future builds or updates.
d. WiFi Connectivity: Working absolutely fine without any problem.
e. SMS and Calls: Working absolutely fine without any problem for both the Airtel and Jio Sim.
f. Mobile Internet: Working absolutely fine without any problem for both the Airtel and Jio Sim.
14. Superior Goodies: This is a dedicated section for the ROM Customization. Like: AOSP Gestures, System Navigation, Swipe to Screenshot, Gaming mode and many more. Here you can customize:
a. Status Bar.
b. Quick Settings.
c. Buttons.
d. Navigation Bar.
e. Gestures.
f. Lock Screen.
g. Power Menu.
h. Notifications.
