Pre-requisites:

01. Backup your data.

02. Charge your phone's battery at least 50% or more but I will recommend to have at least 80% or more.

03. Firmware Version needed: Recommended Firmware Versions from Developer side is: Firmware Version 061 or above and I have used the Version 061 to review this ROM at my end. You can refer our YouTube Channel if you want more videos on the different Firmware Versions released by Asus till date:
 
Apart to this you can download the Firmware Version(s) from this Link as well:

04. Bootloader should be unlocked, refer the below mentioned video for the same:
 

05. TWRP Custom Recovery should be installed, refer the below mentioned video for the same:


You can skip the Installation part related to Pixel Experience 9 Official Custom ROM (as we will install Superior OS Xcalibur Official Custom ROM in the proceeding steps).

06. Finally the installation of Superior OS Xcalibur Official Custom ROM using TWRP Recovery:

a. Format Data.
b. Wipe Cache, Dalvik, Data, System and Vendor (Optional).
c. Install/Flash the Superior OS Xcalibur Official Custom ROM.
d. Install/Flash the GApps (NikGApps).

07. Reboot the phone and complete the phone setup process. (Wait for 10-15 mins but if it is taking more than 15 mins and still there is no progress with the Phone Setup process then restart the device as it will fasten the process afterwards).

08. Last but not the least finally enjoy the beauty of Android 11 with Superior OS Xcalibur Official Custom ROM on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.

Here are the instructions for downloading the Version 087 | Delta or OTA Package/Update for Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 : Build Number: PKQ1.WW_Phone-16.2017.2009.087- 20200826. 1.
